RB Series 2000 mainsheet traveller system has been redesigned. Cars restyled for modern contoured looks plus more efficient ball tracking resulting in an even better all round performance. The traveller cars feature dual races of recirculating ball bearings running smoothly in the horizontal plane. This allows for the profile to be kept extremely low. The stainless steel pivoting attachment shackle will accept take off angles of up to 45 from the vertical without affecting the free running capabilities. A special self cleaning slot is incorporated in the underside of the aluminium body allowing any debris to fall clear of the balls. Please note ball bearings should be washed with fresh water frequently. |

RB2 Travellers are made in two lengths with a choice of Delrin or high load Torlon ball bearings. Most applications can be accommodated on keelboats, cruisers and racing yachts up to a maximum of 8.5m (28ft) L.O.A. Important Note: Where boat size recommendations are made, it should be noted that these are for Monohulls only. Where Mulithulls are concerned a 20% reduction should be made. RB2 track profile is designed to keep the system low, light and compact. Manufactured from black anodised aluminium, it is both strong and extremely light. However, if it is necessary to run over an unsupported area, some form of bridge should be utilised. RB2 Track must be fully supported in all applications. See table for available lengths. (Short Travellers contain 44 ball bearings, long Travellers 64) |
