Bases are used for mounting blocks and for attachment anchorage points. For marine and commercial use. RWO offer three types of base (1) Stand up or swivel yoke. (2) Swivel pillar. (3) Padeye with fixed loop. All Stainless steel brightly polished.
Stand-up or Swivel Yoke.Two models both allow blocks of all shapes and sizes to be held upright and bisect lead angles to act as a fairlead. The block pillar fits directly into yoke and with use of spring keeps upright. Both have strong moulded bases and universal Stainless steel ball joints.

Swivelling Pillar. Three models for many applications - usually a shackle is fitted directly to the pillar eye with a block or wire attached allowing an articulated swivel/joint. Stainless steel bases house same size pillar, but give alternative number and fixing centres.
Padeyes or fixed loop. Ideal for strong non-swivelling applications, for example for anchoring halyard blocks at the foot of a mast. Four models are available with different size loops and hole configurations. (For lighter load applications See eyestrap page)
Springs. The ideal solution to 'standing' a block head up high from one of our bases or travellers and allowing the sheave to align with the ropes direction. Two models available, open coil spring, and a elastomer enclosed corrugated boot. N.B.: Pillar blocks are best for springs as the shoulder forms a convenient platform, however the coil spring on bullet block wrap over straps still works adequately.
