Camcleats.
Two ranges of cleats suitable for control lines on all sizes of boats
up to half ton racing. Maximum use has been made of Hi-tech marine grade
materials to cater for modern rope line technology, and a complete choice
of accessories are available including top, rear and front mounted fairleads,
under deck fixings, angled and parallel bases. Rope guides or fairleads
are made of stainless steel or plastic. Rounded to give a smooth entry,
they either fit under or over the cleat and are secured by the existing
screws.
SERVO CLEATS
With their unique cam design that requires only downward pressure
to function. The Delrin cams which incorporate integral stainless steel
inserts, provide maximum holding power. A well proven Olympic cleat that
functions well with the new Hi-tech ropes such as Spectra, Vectran &
Zylon, and the kind steel grips do not suffer from rope burn.
Popular economically priced camcleats. Two sizes available. Cams in anodised aluminium alloy with Hi-tech 'acetal' axial bearing surfaces to ensure minimum weight and good operational resilience to corrosion and extreme usage. Patented UK 206634 : US 4414910 reg. design 992922. The R3570 budget Camcleat has both case and cam and integrated springs made of clear acetal resin. Still the most economical and lightest Camcleat for its rope size on the market.
