Carbocleat®

The combined advances in rope, materials and computer technology has called on all the resources of RWO engineers to meet the challenge and produce the most efficient cleat in the world. Unique teeth progression which has been scientifically tested to offer similar amounts of holding power on small or large rope diameters (Just try and use a smaller line for same application and hold it in your hand to get some idea of the grip required.) On older cam's just one or two teeth attempt to retain the rope which was OK for more forgiving old fashion softer rope, but now with the harder core Hi-tech rope higher loading under tension are resisting deformation. More teeth contact but at less depth means a kinder cleat to rope wear, easier entry and exit. The contoured cam shell is unlike other designs, it is not a compromise, the carbon fibre teeth form direct wedge to the pillar and transfer the load to the fastenings. The rest of the body is sculptured around this and whilst providing a distinct contrasting also forms part of a lubricated fluted bearing. Thus our engineers, together with computer and plastic experts have maximised the use of modern technics resulting in a world beating design.

The Carbocleat® accessories are designed to complement the cleat and will help line entry even when lines enter or leave the cams at unfair angles.

The front fairleads are sculptured to give the line most guided freedom. A choice of bright coloured plastic helps to identify lines and the stainless steel wire frame eliminates line through burn.

The top fairleads are available in polished stainless steel or in plastic - being kind to the crews body and clothing in a choice of bright colours to help line identification.

The rear fairlead formed from stainless steel wire come complete with a moulded cambase.

Wedge kits are available for both cams giving an angle of 10, 20 and 30¤ for improved leads. Included are underdeck angled packer for through deck fastenings. Designs and patents pending. Registered Design
