F.G.2. System is recommended for use on keel boats and cruisers up to 8m (26ft) LOA (10% reduction for multi-hulls) but is also suitable for inner forestay sails on larger craft not exceeding working loads of 1350kgs (3000lbs). Both systems have Stainless Steel spindles and ball bearings and are available as single or endless line systems. Both the drum assemblies are of anodised marine grade aluminium making them very strong units. In the case of Single Line Furlers the line is wound around the drum and passed through the guide back to the cockpit and cleated. We recommend leading the 3- 4mm furling line along side deck to cockpit utilising RWO stanchion mounts. Pull the line to furl - Uncleat and pull sheet to unfurl. To avoid damage to luff wire it is advisable to ensure that furling is always in a clockwise direction.
