RWO Rudderheads, tillers and extensions are renown for their reliability world-wide. They are all designed to steer a sailboat positively in all aspects of sailing and wave conditions whether by Olympic yachtsman or absolute novice.
The Rudderheads offer a multitude of features that probably make them the stiffest, lightest, strongest in the world. Two ranges of RWO Rudderheads are available - one to suit fixed tillers, and the other for convenient detachment, has an extruded hood. Both cover standard blade widths and are suitable for a range of dinghies and dayboats. The inbuilt rigidity gives the helm the positive control of a fixed rudder with the convenience of a lifting blade.

Top pintle supplied loose, (with rivets) to match existing transom positions. Except R0780 and R0808.

Pintle and gudgeon straps are extremely rigid and together with the wrap around reinforced aluminium body, form an exceptional strong unit.

Generous wingnut, bolt and washer assembly give a strong pivot for the blade, together with a one handed, clamping operation which takes up any small difference in the tolerance.
Tillers fit all RWO rudderheads with the exception of R0808 and are manufactured in high grade anodised marine aluminium 32mm (1 ") diameter tube. Come complete with omniflex mount, uphaul/downhaul cleat, end plug and extension clip.
As a service to OEM's we can customise rudderheads, tillers and Ali pintles. Minimum batch of 50.
